We sell only to private consumers and our products are not for re-sale and may not be used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. We only source top quality, farmed and produced meats from reputable Australian suppliers. All our beef is grass fed, grain fed and/or MSA (Meat Standard Australia) graded as stated. The MSA grading system ensures certain standards are maintained from paddock to plate assuring the product is of the highest quality available.
Minimum order amount is $100.
Orders are taken via our online store. If preferred, you can also place your order over the phone or via email. Once complete, you will receive an email confirming your order and delivery details. For any urgent orders please contact us and we will do our best to fill your order.

In the unlikely event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfill your order, we will contact you to arrange an alternative item, or backorder the item with an estimated delivery date.
Meat & Cleaver primarily delivers to the following Sydney areas – Lower and Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches and CBD (Bulk office deliveries only). However if you live outside these areas we will do our best to come to you. Please contact us if this is the case. We currently offer FREE delivery on all orders.
We endeavor to meet your nominated day and preferred time of delivery, however due to the nature of our delivery runs this may not be possible and we will contact you to arrange an alternative time.
If you will not be home to receive your order, prior authorisation for goods to be left must be stated on checkout or via email. In the event that your order is stolen or damaged where it is left at your delivery address, we do not accept liability.
Should we arrive on the agreed day and time and there is nobody to accept delivery (with no prior consent to leave goods), your order will be returned to our cold storage and you will be contacted to arrange an alternate day and time. Such orders will incur an additional delivery cost of $20 payable by you.
Upon delivery please inspect your goods and if there are any issues please contact us immediately. Claims will not be recognised unless made within 12hrs of delivery.
The total amount displayed on checkout is only an estimate and, in most cases, the absolute maximum amount for your order.
We cut and pack your order to the closest desired weight, and charge by weight. We will know the final amount of your order once it has been packed and is ready for dispatch.
Upon checkout you are required to provide credit card details to pre-authorise the transaction. The funds will be be placed on hold until the day of delivery when the total amount is amended and your credit card is charged. In most cases the total amount will be less than the pre-authorised amount. A receipt for your order will be emailed to you on the day of delivery. We accept VISA and MasterCard. If you prefer to make alternate payment please contact us when placing your order.
All our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Product prices are updated on a regular basis to reflect the current market prices. The prices stated on our website and promotional material are current at the time of publication.
Bulk Office Deliveries
If your colleagues are keen to get in on the action, take advantage of our office delivery service. Simply collate the orders, coordinate a favorable time and day for delivery and you will receive 10% off your next personal order. Minimum combined order of $500 for delivery to Sydney’s North Shore, Northern Beaches and CBD. Please contact us for more information.
Cancellation, Refunds and Returns
Please choose carefully as we do not accept returns and/or give refunds if you have simply changed your mind, made a mistake during ordering or have stored your product incorrectly.
Being perishable goods the utmost importance must be placed on prompt and appropriate refrigeration or frozen storage to ensure products are not spoiled. Meat with bones must be used or frozen as soon as possible. Meat & Cleaver accepts no liability or responsibility for products if they are not properly refrigerated. Shelf life may vary from product to product. If you are unsure about storage or shelf life please contact us.
If there is an issue with the goods you have purchased, or you believe the goods we charged you for were not provided please contact us immediately on 0416 023 698. Such claims are to be made within 12 hours of delivery.
Title and Risk
Title to and risk of products are passed to you upon delivery of the products to the delivery address you have nominated. Delivery will be deemed to have occurred when the relevant products are left at that address or you have otherwise taken possession of the order. Meat & Cleaver and its officers and employees are not liable to you or anyone else for any loss or damage (including any form of indirect loss) however caused and which is suffered directly or indirectly in connection with the products or delivery service.
